Hamilton Road Baptist Church is a growing and vibrant Bible-centred church based in Bangor, Co Down. Originally established in 1908, the church has grown steadily over the past years with an emphasis on Bible-based teaching, outreach into the community and a strong network of ministries in the church, including youth work. It has planted three churches in its history.
With 315 members and over 60 young people (11-18) directly associated with the church, we are now seeking to appoint a Youth Director possessing the vision and leadership qualities to develop and expand the existing and established youth ministry. There will also be opportunities to serve in wider church life.
Working alongside our Pastors and Church Leadership Team, the role will include:
- Leading, planning and developing the youth ministry programme
- Coordinating and supporting a team of willing volunteers
- Strengthening the partnership between youth work and families
- Regular hands-on involvement in the youth work
